4月18日上午9时许，姚桥派出所接到群众报警：姚桥太平桥，有人站在活动板房上要跳江。接到报警电话后，民警曹丹立即带领两名辅警赶到现场。当时情况相当危急，只见一名女子站在房顶上，情绪激动，想跳进江中。曹丹不断安抚女子的情绪，经过半个多小时的努力劝说。该名女子终于放弃跳江，顺着梯子跟随民警从活动板房上走下来，圆满地解决了一场危机！
