大同古长城旅游公路贯通天镇、阳高、新荣、南郊、左云5个县区，主要沿塞外古长城遗迹而建。主线全长224公里，其中建设里程长153公里，直接利用里程71公里，设置支线20条，建设里程97公里，总建设里程250余公里。
