Usher s son rushed to hospital after serious pool accident
USHER s son has been rushed to hospital after a serious accident in the singer s pool.
Five-year-old Usher Raymond V — the eldest of Usher s two boys — is said to have almost drowned when his hand got caught in the pool s drainage system.
The incident comes just one year after the 34-year-old star s stepson died in a jetski smash.
US website TMZ say the lad is now being treated by medics in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and "will be OK".
He is thought to have become caught when he went after one of his toys that had been sucked into the drain.
The boy s aunt dived into the pool to rescue him and was helped by a maid and two men working in the house.
He was then given CPR before being rushed to the medical centre for treatment.
Usher was not at home when the accident happened, but was notified soon after and immediately returned home.
He and ex-wife Tameka — the mother of his two children — are both at the medical centre.
