Aito will withdraw from Huawei and HIMA retail stores from January 1, 2027, Jiemian News learned from Huawei channel sources.
Several dealers have been told by Huawei that they will need to choose between representing Huawei, HIMA's other four auto brands or the Aito brand, according to the sources. Aito will retain its existing delivery centers to support vehicle delivery and after-sales services.
Dealers that choose to work only with Huawei's HIMA retail system will remain under the direct-sales model, the sources said.
The reported change concerns retail channels and dealer arrangements, rather than Aito's broader relationship with Huawei's smart-car ecosystem. Huawei had not responded to Jiemian's request for comment as of publication.
