9月4日，在宜宾召开的2026世界动力电池大会上，宁德时代首席科学家吴凯对电动车应用多元化预测表示，每一台现代化电动车都具备两大分布式算力硬件基础，大容量车载储能电池，以及智能驾驶芯片富余闲置算力，可以依托国内海量闲置电动车打造分布式算力网络，把闲置车辆改造为分散式AI Token 运算节点。
