北京时间8月31日，皇家马德里篮球俱乐部官方宣布，球队已与自由球员中锋达米安-琼斯签下一份为期一年的合同。
琼斯在2016年NBA选秀大会以首轮第30顺位被勇士选中，效力期间曾随队两夺NBA总冠军，随后辗转老鹰、太阳、湖人、国王、爵士和骑士等多支球队。他八年NBA生涯共出战279场比赛，场均得到4.9分3.1篮板。
