北京时间8月28日，据记者Shams Charania报道，消息人士透露，自由球员中锋尼克-理查兹已与迈阿密热火达成一份为期一年的合同。
在签下克莱-汤普森后，热火用一名替补内线球员填补了球队的第14个阵容名额。
上赛季，理查兹共出战48场常规赛，在场均14.6分钟的出场时间里，可以得到5.8分5.1篮板的数据。
