8月25日，大连鲲城俱乐部宣布，即日起，刘天祺出任一线队体能教练。刘天祺球员时代曾效力于大连阿尔滨、大连超越等队，2011赛季，随大连阿尔滨夺得中甲冠军，升入中超。2022赛季起，刘天祺转型教练岗位，先后在广西平果哈嘹、上海嘉定汇龙、石家庄功夫担任助理教练。
