赤壁鱼糕，是咸宁赤壁独有的特色名菜，在当地土话里被亲切地称为“肉糕”，普通话里则是家喻户晓的“鱼糕”。它的制作极为讲究，选用新鲜鱼肉，仔细去骨去皮，只取鲜嫩的白肉，再搭配少许猪肥肉、生粉、鸡蛋蛋白，加入生姜、大蒜等调料拌匀，最后在表面裹上一层金黄的蛋皮，上锅蒸制而成。做好的鱼糕，口感软润细腻，入口即化，没有丝毫鱼腥味，营养又美味，每一口都能尝到鱼肉的鲜醇与蛋皮的香嫩，是赤壁人餐桌上不可或缺的地道美味。
