据韩媒报道，韩国男子短道速滑选手林钟彦因在12个月内三次违反兴奋剂检测地点登记报告规定，面临最高两年的禁赛处罚。
据悉，林钟彦分别于今年2月、6月和7月因违规错过兴奋剂检测，其中2月已被警告一次。林钟彦方面解释称，系本人及监护人未仔细查看邮件所致，属疏忽大意，已向世界反兴奋剂机构（WADA）作出说明。参考过往案例，林钟彦最终可能被禁赛一年。
林钟彦出生于2007年，在米兰冬奥会上斩获1银1铜，并在世锦赛上夺得1000米和1500米两项冠军。
