据CCTV国际时讯，美国太空探索技术公司（SpaceX（SPCX.US））一枚废弃的“猎鹰9”号火箭残骸于8月5日撞击月球，韩国宇宙航空厅和美国航空航天局8月6日公布了撞击前后月球表面的对比图像。图像显示，火箭残骸撞击后，月球表面可见撞击坑的痕迹。
