北京时间7月14日，记者罗布-默罗报道，联盟中的消息人士透露，灰熊计划裁掉老将泰-吉布森。
今年二月中旬，灰熊买断了李凯尔，随后与吉布森签下了一份两年合同。2025-26赛季，吉布森共出战10场比赛，首发1场，场均贡献3.4分2.7个篮板。
吉布森现已年满41岁，是联盟中第二老的球员，仅次于勒布朗-詹姆斯。
