谷歌对智能家居市场持续投入，但智能显示屏产品线已多年未更新。从Google Home应用最新代码中发现的字符串显示，一款代号“Home Display”的新设备正准备重新引入类似Nest Hub Max的摄像头功能。它的工作方式将与Nest Cam系列高度相似：向用户提供有限的免费事件录像时长，如需更长保存周期则要订阅Home Premium服务。这也是自多年前的Nest Hub Max之后，谷歌首次为专用智能屏重新集成摄像头模组。
