据报道，亚马逊一子公司与InterDigital正敲定一份授权协议，该协议将解决针对亚马逊Fire TV设备的专利侵权指控。法官当地时间7月9日批准InterDigital与亚马逊服务有限责任公司的联合动议，在双方推进协议期间，暂停美国特拉华州联邦地区法院的这起诉讼。7月6日达成的仲裁协议要求双方申请此次暂停。
InterDigital于去年11月起诉亚马逊，指控其Fire TV设备及其他视频流媒体硬件侵犯了5项涵盖视频处理与压缩技术的专利。
