人工智能（AI）搜索公司Perplexity近日确认，计划使用英伟达新推出的Vera中央处理器（CPU），以支持其AI代理工作负载。Perplexity企业基础设施副总裁Nate Kupp表示，Vera CPU在处理AI代理编码任务时，速度约为传统CPU的1.5倍。他指出，这款芯片非常适合公司的核心工作负载。与需要任务间歇的人类用户不同，AI代理会不间断运行，对处理器的持续吞吐能力提出了更高要求。
