北京时间7月3日，据厄瓜多尔国家队官方消息，39岁厄瓜多尔国门埃尔南-加林德斯结束国家队生涯。
埃尔南-加林德斯2021年6月才完成厄瓜多尔国家队首秀，至今代表厄瓜多尔国家队出场39次，丢30球完成17次零封。
本届世界杯，埃尔南-加林德斯代表厄瓜多尔出战全部4场比赛，最终球队在1/16决赛不敌墨西哥被淘汰。
