本报里约热内卢7月2日电 （记者时元皓）萨尔瓦多消息：由中国交建和中国铁建共同投资建设的萨尔瓦多—伊塔帕里卡大桥开工仪式7月1日在巴西巴伊亚州伊塔帕里卡岛韦拉克鲁斯举行，标志着这座拉美地区规模最大的斜拉跨海大桥正式进入建设阶段。
据悉，该项目总长约46.8公里，包含陆侧陆域、跨海大桥以及岛侧陆域三大组成部分。
