吕梁新区体育中心是新区重要标志性建筑之一，是我市高标准建设的体育场所，可容纳观众20000余人。该体育中心是集体育竞赛、大众健身、文化表演、休闲娱乐于一体的综合服务型多功能场所，提升了城市的形象和品位,也为吕梁市民提供了一个高品质健身休闲娱乐的好去处。
