北京时间6月22日，据ESPN记者Shams报道，CJ-麦科勒姆与亚特兰大老鹰提前达成1年2100万美元的续约。
Shams表示：“Excel Sports Management的经纪人Sam Goldfeder告诉ESPN，亚特兰大老鹰后卫CJ-麦科勒姆与球队达成1年2100万美元的续约。麦科勒姆在6月30日之前有资格提前续约，避免成为自由球员。”
2022年，麦科勒姆与鹈鹕达成2年6400万美元的提前续约，该合同将于今夏到期。上赛季，麦科勒姆场均可以得到18.7分3.1篮板4.1助攻。
