今天广西上林县，民国以前一共修过六个版本的地方志，常见的是四种光绪，民国，嘉庆，康熙，另有两版本则只知有传说，这个是光绪二年的版本，是由甘肃人徐坤衡，本地人周世德所主持编修，这光绪版被后人评价“很高”，
