美国选手撒普10日在美国大学体育协会（NCAA）田径锦标赛中跑出12秒75，打破尘封近14年的男子110米栏世界纪录。此前的男子110米栏世界纪录是美国选手梅里特在2012年创造的12秒80。中国选手刘翔也曾是该项目的世界纪录保持者。
