美国航空航天局6月3日宣布，在火星轨道已运行超过11年的探测器“火星大气与挥发物演化任务”（MAVEN）正式结束。MAVEN探测器于2013年11月发射升空，2014年9月进入火星轨道，原计划任务期一年，此后持续运行并多次延长任务。该探测器2025年12月6日最后一次与地面通信后失联，已无法继续正常运行。美国航空航天局当时表示，MAVEN在绕过火星背面后未能恢复信号。（央视新闻）
