当地时间5月25日晚，澳大利亚悉尼灯光节的无人机表演因技术故障被迫取消。表演中，89架无人机脱离编队，从空中坠落，险些伤及工作人员，部分无人机掉进附近的海湾。悉尼灯光节主办方表示，后续将调查事故原因，目前可以排除“蓄意干扰”的可能。
