设备停更：据Android Authority报道，谷歌已悄然更新其Nest设备软件支持页面，确认终止为多款Chromecast流媒体设备提供安全更新。这意味着除一款型号外，绝大多数Chromecast设备已走到生命周期终点。
涉及型号：此次被列入停止更新名单的设备涵盖了Chromecast（第一代、第二代、第三代）、Chromecast Audio、Chromecast Ultra以及Chromecast with Google TV（4K）版本。唯一例外的是2022年发布的Chromecast with Google TV（HD），该型号因受谷歌至少五年支持政策的保护而继续获得更新。
时间确认：科技媒体9to5Google的网页存档信息显示，除第一代产品外，上述其余型号截至3月13日仍处于受支持状态。但近期已有Reddit用户指出，该支持页面已于近日完成了状态变更。
故障修复：在设备停更的消息之外，初代Chromecast用户也迎来了一个好消息。本周早些时候，大量初代设备用户曾报告其设备出现故障无法使用，而目前多名用户已确认这些设备已恢复正常工作。
