5月21日，在小鹏GX发布会后的小范围群访中，小鹏通用智能中心负责人刘先明表示，特斯拉的FSD（无人驾驶方案）进入中国是好事，之后大家都可以公平竞争。他还表示，小鹏在中国的本地化场景、本体数据和本地算力等方面，相较FSD有优势，但在其他方面相较FSD也会存在劣势。
