当地时间5月11日，法国卫生部长斯特凡妮·里斯特表示，法国已确诊首例汉坦病毒感染病例，患者为一名此前乘坐“洪迪厄斯”号邮轮的法国女性。这名患者于5月10日从加那利群岛乘专机被送返法国。里斯特在接受采访时表示，其汉坦病毒检测呈阳性，且这名患者的病情在当晚出现恶化。
