青藏公路修筑往事，两千名甘肃驼工，1.8万峰骆驼，支撑起青藏公路修建的材料生命线！
1953年，为保障西藏补给，慕生忠组建西藏骆驼运输总队，在甘肃民勤、临泽招募2000名驼工，调集1.8万峰骆驼。1954年，驼工与解放军并肩，在高寒缺氧、零下三四十℃的极端环境下，靠人力畜力边运粮边筑路，历经7个月零4天，修通千余公里青藏公路。
