4月22日，“小米汽车”冲上社媒热搜，却是因为一张高仿P图。图片中小米公司“重磅宣布”苹果CEO蒂姆·库克将出任小米汽车CEO。图片甚至还伪造了蒂姆·库克的回应：“非常荣幸加入小米汽车！” 22日下午，小米集团董事长特别助理、战略市场部副总经理徐洁云发文回应：“乱P图不可取，可不兴这么乱开玩笑的。”
