4月19日晚间，重庆市气象台发布消息，中西部地区暴雨黄色预警：预计4月19日21:00-20日3:00：大渡口、九龙坡、巴南、高新区、永川、璧山、江津、綦江、万盛、南川等10个区将出现50～80毫米降水，两江新区、渝中、沙坪坝、南岸、北碚、合川、铜梁、大足、荣昌、长寿、涪陵、丰都、武隆、彭水等14个区县将出现25～50毫米降水，上述地区局地伴有7～9级雷雨大风。
