3月27日，佛山市人民政府官网公布了2月份人事任免通知，李斌任佛山市文化广电旅游体育局副局长。在本次任命前，李斌为佛山市发展和改革局副局长。
公开资料显示，2011年，李斌任佛山市发展和改革局总经济师，8年后，任佛山市发展改革局副局长，直到本次履新。
