4月12日，一男子在东莞银瓶山森林公园徒步时吃野草中毒。4月13日，事发公园清溪景区人员称，男子系误食野草，经送医救治人无大碍，当时男子可能是拔了草含在嘴里玩才引发中毒。事发公园工作人员提醒，在野外徒步应小心不要触碰动植物。
