俞珺岍：从商赛到学术研究，用目标感跑赢时间的“多面手”

在美伦国际高中BC学部，十年级的俞珺岍（Candice）同学正以她独特的方式，书写着属于自己的成长故事。从国际商赛的赛场到学术研究的舞台，从课程体系的主动转换到标化考试的稳步推进，她用行动诠释了什么叫“有目标、有执行力的美伦人”。

At the BC Department of MIC (Majestic International College), Grade 10 student Yu Junqian (Candice) is writing her own growth story in her own unique way. From the arena of international business competitions to the stage of academic research, from proactive transitions between curriculum systems to steady progress in standardized tests, she has embodied what it means to be a “goal-oriented, action-driven MIC student.”

三大竞赛，三份沉淀：不止是奖项，更是成长

在刚刚过去的竞赛季中，俞珺岍同学带领团队在BPA商业挑战赛中斩获中国赛区（CBPA）银奖，并成功晋级全球赛。BPA拥有超过50年历史，是与FBLA、DECA齐名的全美三大商赛之一，获得美国教育部认证。

During the recent competition season, Candice led her team to win the Silver Award in the China Regional Competition (CBPA) of the BPA Business Challenge and successfully qualified for the global round. With a history of more than 50 years, BPA is one of the top three business competitions in the United States alongside FBLA and DECA, and is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.

“我们是实战组，需要做10分钟演讲加3分钟问答。”作为团队的CEO，她负责统筹分工、撰写演讲稿、整合内容。团队成员分布在中国、加拿大和美国，时差和沟通是她必须克服的第一道坎。“早上发消息，对方晚上才回，协调成本很高。”但她没有退缩，而是主动承担起沟通与整合的角色，带领核心成员完成了从区域赛到全国赛的晋级之路。

“We were in the practical competition track, which required a 10‑minute presentation followed by a 3‑minute Q&A session.” As CEO of the team, she was in charge of overall coordination, task allocation, speech drafting, and content integration. Team members were based in China, Canada, and the United States, so time‑zone differences and communication became her first major challenge. “Messages I sent in the morning would only get replies in the evening, making coordination very inefficient.” Yet she did not back down. Instead, she took the initiative to act as the main communicator and integrator, leading the core team from the regional round all the way to the national finals.

此外，俞珺岍所在“DUSAC”团队在沃顿全球高中生投资竞赛中斩获投资组合绩效奖。从沃顿投资赛到BPA，俞珺岍连续在两大国际商科竞赛中崭露头角，展现了扎实的商业思维与出色的领导力。

In addition, Candice’s team “DUSAC” received the Portfolio Performance Award in the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition. With strong showings in both the Wharton Investment Competition and BPA, she has stood out consecutively in two major international business competitions, demonstrating solid business thinking and outstanding leadership.

除了商赛，她还参与了CTB全球青年创新研究论坛，其团队的研究课题《<黑神话：悟空>“天命人”的跨文化叙事构建与传播策略分析》荣获全国三等奖（前50名）。作为队长，她不仅要协调身处不同国家的成员分工，还要完成文献综述整合、参考文献格式统一等繁琐工作。“全球赛最初只有3个人报名，我们硬是扛下了比赛要求的10人团队的工作量。”她说，“心态要好，不然真的撑不下来。”

Beyond business competitions, she also participated in the CTB Global Youth Innovation Research Forum. Her team’s research project, An Analysis of Cross‑Cultural Narrative Construction and Communication Strategies of the “Destined One” in Black Myth: Wukong, won the Third Prize Nationwide (Top 50). As team leader, she not only coordinated task division among members in different countries but also completed tedious work such as synthesizing literature reviews and standardizing reference formats. “Only three people signed up for the global round at first, but we still took on the workload required for a 10‑person team,” she said. “You have to stay positive; otherwise, you really can’t hold on.”

而在数学方面，她也毫不松懈。为了弥补数学基础的不足，她在AMC数学竞赛中疯狂刷题，每天往返广佛两地，赛前日均刷题两三百道，最终拿下全球前5%的Distinction奖项。

She also maintained high standards in mathematics. To strengthen her mathematical foundation, she practiced intensively for the AMC Mathematics Competition, traveling daily between Guangzhou and Foshan and completing 200 to 300 practice problems each day before the contest. In the end, she earned the Distinction award, ranking among the global Top 5%.

适合自己才是最好：三次课程转换，一次自我觉醒

俞珺岍的学术路径并不“标准”。课程选择从IB到IGCSE，再到美伦的BC+AP双轨课程，她经历了三次课程体系的转换。背后不是盲目跟风，而是一次次主动的探索与判断。

Candice’s academic path has not followed a “standard” route. She switched curricula three times — from IB to IGCSE, and finally to MIC’s BC+AP dual‑track program. Each shift was not blind conformity, but active exploration and deliberate judgment.

“我本来是想申请英国方向，去剑桥夏校后，发现那里的氛围与自己适配度不高。”她表示，英国院校的培养模式，也与自己对 “商科 + 跨文化” 方向的期待不完全契合。在家人支持下，她转而选择美国方向，入读了美伦国际高中。“美伦有完整的校园环境，全外教教学，BC课程同时可以选修AP，这样的体系适合我。”

“I originally planned to apply to universities in the UK, but after attending a summer school at Cambridge, I found the atmosphere was not a good fit for me,” she noted. The educational model of UK institutions also did not fully align with her expectations for a pathway combining “business + cross‑cultural studies.” With the support of her family, she shifted her focus to U.S. applications and enrolled at MIC. “MIC has a complete campus environment, all‑foreign‑teacher instruction, and the BC curriculum with optional AP courses — this system suits me perfectly.”

目前，她正在修读AP宏观/微观经济学，并提前学习12年级内容，计划用AP学分兑换部分BC课程学分。她的目标非常清晰：冲击美国顶尖商学院。

Currently, she is studying AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics, while previewing Grade 12 content in advance. She plans to use AP credits to exempt some BC course requirements. Her goal is clear: to gain admission to a top U.S. business school.

阶段性目标管理：不贪多，只求准

“我会把时间分成不同阶段，定阶段性的目标。”俞珺岍说。

“I divide my time into different phases and set phased goals,” Candice said.

上学期，她的重点是稳住GPA和修读AP课程；寒假则全力投入竞赛；而现在，她正在补回请假两周落下的课程，准备5月的AP考试。暑假，她计划冲刺托福高分，并开展科研项目，将假期时间花在科研项目。

Last semester, her focus was maintaining a high GPA and completing AP courses. During winter break, she devoted herself fully to competitions. Now, she is catching up on coursework missed during a two‑week absence and preparing for the AP exams in May. This summer, she plans to strive for a high TOEFL score and launch a research project, dedicating her vacation to academic research.、

结语：不是“卷”，是“有方向地努力”

在美伦，俞珺岍不只是拿奖的“竞赛达人”，更是一个懂得规划、敢于试错、不断调整方向的学习者。她用自己的节奏，跑出了一条属于美伦学子的成长路径。

At MIC, Candice is more than an award‑winning “competition expert” — she is a learner who plans carefully, dares to experiment, and constantly adjusts her direction. At her own pace, she has forged a growth path that truly represents MIC students.

“I enjoy exploring, and I can be quite outgoing,” she said with a smile. It is this unconstrained, fearlessly ambitious personality that carries her farther along the track of academics and life.
