当地时间4月7日，达美航空发表声明称将上调行李托运费。该航空公司表示，旅客第一件和第二件托运行李的费用将上涨10美元，而在国内及部分国际航班上，托运第三件行李的费用将上涨50美元。涨价后，第一件行李的总费用为45美元，第二件为55美元，第三件为200美元。此外，达美航空表示，SkyMiles尊爵会员以及头等舱乘客将继续享受部分免费行李额度。
