据中国科学院近代物理研究所，近日，该研究所、重离子科学与技术全国重点实验室超重核研究团队与合作者利用兰州重离子加速器国家实验室加速器装置，首次成功合成了新核素锫-235及其阿尔法衰变子核镅-231。该研究为理解重核区原子核的核结构、衰变特性等提供了重要实验依据，进一步拓展了核素的认知版图。相关成果发表于《物理快报B》。（央视新闻）
