据海关总署广东分署统计，今年前两个月，粤港澳大湾区内地9市进出口1.57万亿元人民币，较去年同期（下同）增长22.4%，快于全国进出口增速4.1个百分点，占全国外贸总值的20.4%，对全国外贸增长贡献度达24.1%。其中，出口1.01万亿元，增长22.7%；进口5650.1亿元，增长22%。
