2月26日，据报道，知情人士称，亚洲一些大行在为竞购汇丰控股印尼的零售业务资产做准备，这些银行包括新加坡星展集团、华侨银行、大华银行、马来西亚联昌集团以及日本三井住友金融集团。汇丰在与顾问商讨可能出售其在印尼的零售业务，该交易对应资产的目标估值或超过2亿美元，竞购方案将于3月中旬提交。
