2月25日，香港特区政府财政司司长陈茂波在立法会发表2026至2027财政年度政府财政预算案。陈茂波表示，将调整1亿港元以上的住宅物业交易印花税税率，由4.25%调高至6.5%，影响约0.3%的住宅物业交易，估计每年可增加约10亿港元收入，追溯至2026年2月26日（明日）起生效。
