当地时间23日凌晨1时许，尼泊尔中部达丁地区一辆大巴车在行驶中坠入河流。根据达丁县警察局当天中午发布的公告，事故已经造成19人死亡，其中9人的身份已经明确。此外还有25人正在医院接受治疗。
经中国驻尼泊尔大使馆同尼方确认，此前在事故中失联的一名中国公民确认死亡。另有一名中国公民受伤，正在接受治疗。
