阿联酋总统外交顾问安瓦尔·加加什（Anwar Gargash）表示，阿布扎比古根海姆博物馆（Guggenheim Abu Dhabi）预计将在2026年开放。
据悉，古根海姆博物馆的设计师弗兰克·盖里（Frank Gehr）已在去年去世，其设计受到了海湾建筑遗产的启发。
从外观上看，这座建筑像一堆锥形和方块，类似篝火柴。这是对阿联酋历史根源的致敬，那时的人们会围着篝火讲故事。
