据新华社消息，菲律宾海岸警卫队官员26日说，一艘从该国南部港城三宝颜前往苏禄省霍洛岛的渡轮当天凌晨沉没，这艘船载有332名乘客和27名船员。
菲律宾海岸警卫队棉兰老岛西南区指挥官杜阿在接受媒体采访时称，当天发生的客船倾覆事故已致7人死亡，目前已救起222人。搜救工作正在进行中。
