据广州黄埔发布，1月22日，粤芯半导体技术股份有限公司四期项目启动活动在广州开发区、黄埔区举行。该项目总投资约252亿元，规划建设月产能4万片的12英寸数模混合特色工艺生产线。据介绍，粤芯四期项目将精准对接AI、端侧AI、工业电子、汽车电子等前沿领域爆发性增长对特色工艺的迫切需求。
