近日，上元观派出所在与应急管理部门联合检查中，在辖区发现非法储存烟花爆竹线索。经依法对嫌疑人住宅检查，发现其在家中非法储存大量鞭炮和烟花爆竹。目前，违法行为人因非法储存危险物质被依法予以行政拘留五日处罚，涉案烟花爆竹已被公安机关依法扣押，及时消除了安全隐患。
