财联社1月16日电，美国汽车安全监管机构已批准特斯拉延长五周时间，以便其对特斯拉公司的全自动驾驶系统启动时其车辆是否违反交通法规的调查做出回应。美国国家公路交通安全管理局周五表示，在特斯拉要求更多时间手动审查数千份记录以确定可能相关的事件后，该局已将关键回复的截止日期延长至2月23日。
