1月14日午间，保诚在港交所公告，范智廉将获委任为非执行董事及候任主席，并将在公司于2026年5月28日举行的股东周年大会后接替Shriti Vadera担任董事会主席。Shriti Vadera将于同日退任董事会，届时，她已完成其六年的任期。预期范智廉将于3月加入董事会（待监管批准），以便在Shriti离职前能有序地进行交接工作。他亦将加入提名与管治委员会及薪酬委员会。
