1月8日，涉事学生回应，他因发型问题被老师推搡，没有实质性殴打行为，事后，涉事老师和校方已道歉。
垫江一中工作人员称，学校对学生发型确有规定，学校已经安排相关人员处理此事。垫江县教育委员会工作人员称，已介入处理。（大河报）
