据央视新闻消息，中国地震台网正式测定：12月12日10时44分在日本本州东部附近海域（北纬40.85度，东经142.95度）发生6.8级地震，震源深度20千米。
另据日本气象厅消息，当地时间12日11时44分左右，日本青森县以东海域发生6.7级地震，最大震感为震度4，震源深度20公里。地震发生后，日本气象厅向该国东北地区太平洋沿岸等地发布海啸注意预警。（总台报道员 柏春洋）
