2025年12月4日，腾龙发布150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD索尼E卡口版新固件Ver.4，提升视频及照片（使用AF-C模式）拍摄时变焦过程中的AF性能。另外，当α9 III对焦模式设为AF-S/DMF/MF时，镜头将能支持最高约120张/秒的连拍。同时，“视频AF辅助”功能也将获得改善。
