11月26日，香港大埔宏福苑发生五级火灾。消防处副处长表示，因风势及起火竹棚的碎片飘至其他大楼，导致火势蔓延至屋苑内7栋大楼，目前有2至3栋情况较为严重。
由于现场温度极高，消防进入大楼灭火时也面临高温，部分楼层仍无法抵达。
