广西阳朔凤楼村，有一株约1500岁的古榕树，树冠面积达1706.7平方米，相当于4个标准篮球场。这棵千年古树曾因天牛虫害濒临死亡。科研人员发现天牛最怕肿腿蜂，于是“北蜂南调”，从北京引进肿腿蜂，成功让古榕重焕生机，再吐新枝。
