近期，约旦河西岸巴勒斯坦人频繁遭到犹太人定居者袭击。据联合国数据，今年十月，当地记录了超过260起犹太人定居者袭击事件，创下2006年以来的新高。当地时间11月14日，联合国人权事务高级专员办事处发言人萨明·希坦对此表示谴责。他表示，以色列对约旦河西岸被占领土宣誓主权，并对当地部分区域的吞并行为违反国际法，侵犯巴勒斯坦人民自决权。
